WHO IS OTTO

Otto Blücker is an adventurer, documentary filmmaker and speaker with a background that spans endurance sports, storytelling and live performance. He has completed several ultradistance races and his latest endevaur was running the entire Kungsleden trail — a project that became a foundation for his long-form storytelling around commitment, direction and perseverance.

In 2025, Otto directed Guardian of the Glacier, a documentary following Oskar Kihlborg — one of the first Scandinavians to summit Mount Everest — and the environmental initiative Glaciärfilten. The film explores the intersection of adventure, science and creative action in response to rapidly changing mountain landscapes.

Before focusing fully on documentary filmmaking and adventure projects, Otto built a long career on stage and within the event and entertainment industry. He is a former professional dancer who competed at an international level and has taken part in numerous stage productions, musicals and large-scale live shows.

His experience includes working as a television host for Disney, performing as a dancer in Melodifestivalen, choreographing video content for Swedish House Mafia, appearing in commercial productions for Sony, and contributing to live events and campaigns for major international sports brands.

This background has shaped Otto’s strong stage presence and his ability to communicate clearly, calmly and with confidence in front of large audiences. Whether on stage, on screen or in remote environments, he is accustomed to performing under pressure and adapting to changing conditions.

Today, Otto brings these experiences together through lectures, films and digital sessions that explore endurance, responsibility and long-term thinking — grounded in real experience.
